Once each month, the water level in the backup storage battery cells is checked, and distilled water is added if needed. This takes 10 to 20 minutes.

Four times each year, the tilt setting on the panels is adjusted to match the sun′s changing seasonal angle in the sky. This very simple process takes two people less than 10 minutes.
