Saguache, Colorado is located at the northwest corner of the San Luis Valley. This large mountain valley is a major ranching and agricultural region for Colorado, know for potatoes, barley and lettuce.

Rimming the Valley along the east are the Sangre de Cristo mountains, in full view from the house. Crestone and the Great Sand Dunes National Park are nestled in their foothills.

Salida to the north and Monte Vista and Alamosa to the south are the major shopping areas nearest Saguache. Adams State College is located in Alamosa.

This home is located 3 miles north of highway 285 in the pinon hills above the San Luis Valley. It is accessed using a well established BLM road.

Two additional adjoining 80-acre parcels are also available for sale. Altogether, the three parcels comprise a 240-acre ranchette measuring 1/2 mile along the northern edge and 1 full mile along the eastern edge. Both the northern and eastern sides adjoining BLM (Bureau of Land Mangement) land.
